Oberstdorf

Oberstdorf was our first Senior International. With Rachel's injuries we didn't have the kind of training time through the summer that we would have liked but Ingo and Brian did a really good job of getting us ready and supporting us through our first international. Rachel also celebrated her 15th birthday in Oberstdorf and after skating our exhibition program, the organizers played Happy Birthday for her and the audience was great. The Canadian Team also organized a delicious birthday cake for Rachel at the closing banquet. We were third in the short and fourth in the long and finished fourth overall. After Oberstdorf, we headed to Chemnitz for three more weeks of training with Ingo.
